Why is my ClariMate playing on its own?

Created by Clarimate USA, Modified on Wed, 10 Jul at 2:00 PM by Clarimate USA

The ClariMate features two output modes: "Player-Blow" and "Auto-Blow". If the ClariMate is immediately outputting sound from note recognition, this means that the "Auto-Blow" feature is turned on. This can be turned off by disabling "Auto-Blow" in the ClariMate app. (Breath Controls > Auto-Blow > Click to change to "Player-Blow")

If you are still receiving unintended output from the ClariMate, you can also recalibrate the breath sensor by either restarting the instrument, or by manipulating the Breath Sensitivity Dial in the Reed and Breath Controls tab of the ClariMate Application. Be sure that you are not blowing into the ClariMate until you hear the humming/buzzing sound of the audio stimulus.
